Eight years ago I started the introduction of Hirudotherapy in Minnesota, USA. It was like walking through the DARK AGES! SQUEAMISH! IMPOSSIBLE! HEALING with LEECHES???!!!! --- it was typical reaction then.
Not a one person knew a strange word "HIRUDOTHERAPY", nor could pronounced it!
Predominantly, I was applying medicinal leeches on my family members, relatives and" European" friends. In Europe we were more familiar with holistic, natural healing with leeches.
However, even overseas was not that easy, yet it took off faster!
I went to my native Poland, UK and Russia, and six years ago I established a very first official hirudotherapy service, ALA-MED HIRUDOTHERAPY CENTER in Krakow, Poland.
Now, Hirudotherapy, in it's non-invasive form, is taking the lead in alternative healing therapies, not only in Russia, Poland, Germany, Australia, Turkey & England, but it is spreading "with a speed of light" throughout USA with
